Classical

Classical playing will always be second nature to me.
I like to think that flexible, solid and passionate are the terms that best describe my playing, as an accompanist, orchestra member, ensemble player,
and soloist.

As much as I love jazz, blues and beats, classical music is in my DNA.
My classical harp education was sound and solid, and I really enjoy passing this on to music lovers of all ages. Recent performing highlights include annually playing Britten’s 'A Ceremony of Carols' with the St Paul’s Cathedral Choristers since 2024, and accompanying my ten year old son in his cello performances.

I am grateful for everything I learned from my amazing teachers, including Teresia Rieu, Helga Storck and Godelieve Schrama, and I have fond memories of touring with the European Union Youth Orchestra under Bernard Haitink, with the Schleswig Holstein Music Festival Orchestra under Christoph Eschenbach, and many a chamber music feast.
